At Baggs Elementary, we know that our best work happens when our Bobcat families and school staff are traveling in the same direction. Parent-teacher conferences are an important stop on our journey together—a time to celebrate your child’s growth, talk honestly about goals, and make a plan for helping them continue to thrive.
Conferences will be held October 29 and 30. Your child’s classroom teacher will reach out electronically to schedule your conference time. We hope every family will make this important connection a priority.
To make the most of your time together, consider coming with a few questions, such as:
- What is my child doing especially well?
- What is one area where my child can continue to grow?
- How is my child doing socially and behaviorally at school?
- What can we do at home to support learning?
- Is there anything you would like us to know about our child?
We also encourage families to talk with their child before the conference. Ask what they are proud of, what feels challenging, and what goals they have for themselves. Your child’s voice is an important part of the journey!
When we work together, our Bobcats have a stronger support system, a clearer path forward, and more people cheering them on. Thank you for hopping on the Bobcat Bus with us and for partnering with us in your child’s education. We are truly grateful for the trust you place in our school and for all you do to help your Bobcat grow!
